The Big whaa? The Big You IV!

Gather around people, gather around. Let me tell you a story about one of the biggest blogger events in Belgiuim: THE BIG YOU IV

A few days ago I got an invitation from UPR Belgiuim (press agency) for THE BIG YOU IV. The event is basically brands introducing their products to bloggers and boy, it was good! Please join me while I reminisce about this fantastic day.

First up let me introduce you to two bloggers who accompanied me that day: The Mad Twins! They are one of my favorite Belgian bloggers because their style is super fairytale like and whimsical. I got to witness first hand how they take such great pictures for their blog and let me tell you, they are pros! It’s always nice to meet bloggers who you can talk endlessly with and who have the same mindset as you.

Now for the brands:

1. Illy Caffe

Illy Caffe has produced the cutest teacup designs! They are one by one little artworks. If you want to get your hands on a set, be fast because they are very limited! I would drink coffee in style everyday slurping out of those cups!

2. Veritas

It’s been ten years since I’ve knitted but everything came right back to me when VERITAS gave us the opportunitiy to knit our own beannie. It’s not finished but I’m glad I got my knitting skills back!

3. Swarovski

You say “diamonds’, I say ‘here’! Swarovski showcased some beautiful bling bling and best of all: we could wear as many as we wanted and take pictures with it. I should’ve gone full throttle but I held my composure and just wore the ring and the bracelet. I seriously channeled my inner Cleopatra while wearing these fabulous jewelry.

4. Pepe Jeans

Pepe is celebrating their 40th anniversary and we got to celebrate with them! We just grabbed everything we could find and posed with it for a picture. They’ve exclusively designed a patriotic collection for the occassion and I was going bananas because I spotted Cara Delevingne in their campaign pictures. Fangirling much?

5. L’Occitane

tby4 tby2

L’Occitane introduced their Christmas perfume ‘Fleur d’Or & Acacia’. it smelled super good and super flowery! It felt like summer knocking on my door again while I was rubbing the perfume all over my neck. So… If someone can buy that for my Christmas, that’ll be great!

6. Zalando

Zalando designed their own line and I must say: I freakin’ love their shoes! I am pounding myself for not taking close up pictures of their boots. But for now, just take my word for it. When I say it’s freakin awesome, it is.

I am extremely grateful to be part of this event. Great brands, great workshops, great people, great food, what more do I need?
