The Perfect Backdrop

One of the struggles of blogging is trying to find good locations to shoot your outfits. We all have our favorite streets and we all have been caught shooting with the same backdrop. Not everyone is blessed with large windows and great indoor light so bloggers mostly go outside to shoot. However, I might have found the perfect indoor location right here in Antwerp, Belgium.

While wandering around in Antwerp, I happened to stumble upon an art school. I kind of invited myself in and came across classrooms filled with artistry and most importantly large windows. Hello, natural light. I just could not help myself but to take a few pictures inside even though my outfit was utterly casual. I ditched my usual camera and said goodbye to blurry backgrounds because this one was too stunning to blur. Painter’s easels here, splashes of paint there.

I mean… How can you say no to this artistic backdrop. Inspirational chaos at its best!

Outfitwise, I am absolutely hating on winter right now. It’s December which is the synonym for ice cold weather but it’s the perfect weather to blow the dust off of my winter coats. This camel little number from Zara has the perfect oversized fit. It’s splashed with random quotes (Raf Simons-ish sadly) and it ironically even has a quote with ‘no value’ on it. I have no idea if this is supposed to be a funny joke from Zara but I’m not hating it.
