Basics with a twist

Seeing my blog over the past months, my style has definitely toned down. I used to be obsessed with street style and vintage. Basics were not my thing. But as I cleaned out my closet, I threw a lot of ‘one of a kind’ pieces away. Nowadays when I am shopping, I make sure I buy clothing leaning towards basics but with a twist.

H&M top – Bershka pants – ASOS boots – Deena & Ozzy bag

The H&M striped tee reminds me so much of Halloween. There is something very inviting about those orange and black stripes that soothes my eyes. The shape is very basic but the striped colors seem somewhat odd aka the perfect basic with a twist.

Lately I have been hoarding 90s looking boots. You know, those boots with a chunky heel. Not only do they add extra two inches to my height but they are also extremely comfortable! This obsession started with my Vagabond boots and now have been extended to these Eyewitness boots from ASOS. I first had my doubts about them but when I saw them on sale, I did not hesitate any longer!

People, chunky boots are your must haves for this fall!
