Wearing long dresses can be quite the hassle when long legs are not part of your DNA. Scratch that. Just waering dresses/skirts is a pain. You can’t go too short or long. You have to find a happy medium. Long dresses were never my forte until I met the right one.

Long dresses can create the optical illusion that you are actually taller than you really are. This green number from Zara creates the illusion that my upper body is longer and for some odd reason, it does not make me look shorter.

Now I do recommend staying away from flat shoes. The tendancy of this dress looking like a long drabby robe is right around the corner and flat shoes might be your worst enemy in this case.
