Citytripping automatically means walking around, sightseeing and eating a buttload of food. While doing so, you might as well be in your most comfortable clothing. And if that happens to be fashionable, then you just killed two birds with one stone.
Bik Bok sweater – Weekday trousers – Fila shoes – Scotch & Soda hat
While I’m not advocating that you should bring your finest clothing abroad, being comfortable while looking good might lift your spirits up. I just came back from Barcelona and most of the time, I walked around in a pair of sneakers and joggings.
Right before my trip, I ordered a pair of flared trousers from Weekday and it arrived just on time allowing me to take a break from joggings while I was in Barcelona. This pair of seventies vibed trousers were the perfect citytripping trousers: it wasn’t tight nor uncomfortable and best of all they looked great with my chunky filas.
If you haven’t noticed, color is my jam. Anything brightly colored in the form of a sweater will immediately catch my attention. This sweater from Bik Bok is actually a collaboration with Swedish Victoria Secret model Elsa Hosk. Needless to say, the mix match of patterns surely adds to its wow factor.
So tell me… what are your citytrip staples?
I love your colorful sweater!! I usually wear sneakers and jeans. Choosing a nice coat is everything I need for adding a bit of style to basic clothing.
