It feels good to be on blogger duties, going to events and blog about it! Today’s focus will be on Prima Donna. Prima Donna is a lingerie brand for women who are ‘largely blessed’. Got your attention?
Even though blogger duties involves taking pictures, my slr camera died and I had to take pictures with my camera phone. I seriously have to get my blogger priorities in line.
Anyway, the event was on a boat. Yes, a boat! I must admit I was quite sceptical of the boat because three days before, I saw the movie Titanic and I couldn’t help myself but to think of worst case scenarios. I got out safe and well feeling all happy about the new Prima Donna swimwear collection!
The collection is basic, yet fun, girly and very flattering! What I absolutely loved about the catwalk, were the models. Prima Donna actually used curvy girls or ‘healthy women’ as one might say. I was expecting skinny girls with top notch trained bodies. The fact that they used curvy girls was soothing to the eyes! It really gave me a reality check but this is what the brand stands for. It is for women who are not a size zero but they just don’t give a rat’s ass about it. This should be the mentality of every brand!

I love the concept behind this brand love that they embrace curvier women! I feel that a lot of shows and brands and what not always showcase size 00 to 1 models and in reality, that isn’t everybody’s body type! Thanks for sharing! Also, thanks for stopping by my blog =P

Wonderful that Prima Donna used real women of all shapes and sizes to model their swimsuits. Looking at these beauties is like looking in a mirror and realizing we have nothing to be ashamed of. I am popping over to learn more about this company.
This is a great topic. I think it’s really good to known that we care for our different shapes and that everybody’s not looking like models.
