Born in Brussels but based in Antwerp, Christian Wijnants is one heck of a fashion talent. He started to study fashion design in 1996 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, home of other great designers such as Peter Pilotto, Ann Demeulemeester etc. & graduated in 2000 taking home the Dries Van Noten Award for best graduation collection. After presenting his collections at several prestigious festivals and working for Dries Van Noten and Angelo Tarlazzi, Christian finally launched his own label in 2003.

 

Known for his knitwear, Christian has made translating rich, layered graphics and fresh colors in knitwear his signature style. He FINALLY opened his first flagship store in Antwerp in 2015. Just in time for the holidays because i’m hauling my butt over there for that knitwear perfection!
