Since dyeing my hair pink, I’ve been dreadfully avoiding pink clothing. Convinced that pink on pink is a big no no, I’ve been depriving myself of something that could be potentially awesome. But I soon got over it.

I sort of had an epiphany when I was browsing through the Urban Outfitters website. I spotted this great pink oversized sweater by Unif. Unif or ‘Ur Not in Fashion’, American brand, have always had a soft spot in my heart. I remember my teen years when I could not afford their clothing (also party due to the customs charges), longing for the shoes and the sweaters. However, times have changed and I’ve gotten myself this big ‘ol sweater as a gift (just an excuse but whatever).

It would have been a shame waiting for my hair to be black again (planning to keep this pink hair for a while), so I threw my ‘Ew pink on pink’ philosophy out the window and embraced ‘YAY pink on pink’! Wearing all pink is actually no different from wearing all black. It’s all in the styling and the contrasts.
