Often, you get caught up by a designer’s design aesthetic and end up trying to support that designer by buying his or her clothing. Often, you cuss at your expensive taste because your money simply cannot follow your spending spree. During these times, it helps having a few shops around that sell designer clothing for the littlest money. One of those shops in Antwerp is Label’s Inc.

Ever since I’ve started working for the fashion museum in Antwerp, my mind gets obsessed with different designers.

For example, the current exhibition Game Changers features the holy trinity of Japanese designers: Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Comme des Garçons. Just their way and reason of designing clothing is so far from the normcore and this is what fashion should all about.

Lucky enough I found this pretty little sparkly orange-y number at Label’s Inc which is a second hand designer store here in Antwerp. My way of browsing through racks of clothing is screening through it and whatever caught my eye gets to be the lucky one to be picked out. The reason why this jacket works: my used-to-be-red-and-now-is-yellowish-bleached-out hair color. The danger is that I’m not keeping this hair color forever and it seemed a little bit risky to buy something that goes super well with my hair. I did ask to borrow the jacket just to shoot with it so lucky for you guys, the jacket is still for sale at Label’s Inc.!
