Big chunky boots are a part of my identity. For some reason, I seem to have grown into loving to wear ‘em. Last time I got introduced to Cult shoes when I visited Milan. Today, JC Play by Jeffrey Campbell crossed my path.

Anyone who has been a blogger or has followed the blogger world knows Jeffrey Campbell. There was a time where every blogger featured their Lita Booties by Jeffrey Campbell on their website and it was hard to get away from that.

Apparently Jeffrey Campbell has a ‘sub brand’ called JC Play. Today is the day I fell in love with the brand.

There are basically two reasons why I bought these Oleary boots. First, they reminded me of the Reebok Instapump but an ultra-feminine boot version of it. Second, they also reminded me of Balenciaga boots that I saw a while back and we all know that I can’t afford that. Hence, the somewhat cheaper version by JC Play.
