A few weeks ago, I travelled to Barcelona during a heatwave. As someone who despises hot weather, I nagged, moaned, bitched about the weather. I packed loads of shorts and t-shirts but this Weekday dress was actually my lifesaver.

Now, I normally do avoid dresses because (1) I still feel uncomfortable in them and (2) shorts are way shorter than dresses which means more breathing area for my legs (or so I thought.

Little did I know, this Weekday dress made the hot weather more durable.

The shorts I’ve packed are from Levi’s. While you actually cannot go wrong with a pair of jeans shorts, the jeans fabric and high waist actually suffocated my ‘feminine’ area. Surely, this was one of the rare occassions where I am happy that I’ve overpacked. During my last minute packing, I quickly stuffed this dress in my luggage. The easyness and breezyness made the last day in Barcelona bareable.
