Being the ultimate 90s girl and having had Britney Spears posters plastered all over my walls, I worshipped Justin and Britney Spears as a couple.  The image of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake in full denim outfit is forever engraved in my mind. I wouldn’t have thought that I would actually type this but that iconic denim on denim outfit was my inspiration for today’s post.

Since Weekday is killing it with their denim collection, I channeled my inner teen girl and decided to take a blast from the past and make it contemporary. EVERY 90s teen know what I am talking about when I mention

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake on the red carpet and seriously giving us couple goals. This long denim trench immediately reminded me of that iconic look.

I know this denim trench is a love-it-or-hate-it kind of deal but I am absolutely not hating it. First of all, check out the details on the sleeves. The sleeve belts allows the trench to have  a slightly different look. Second of all the collar just falls perfectly on the shoulder. Finally if you are taller than me, and 90% of the population is, then the length of the jacket will be up your alley!
